A Rocha Canada is always looking for volunteers. Whether you would like to get your hands dirty at one of our Field Study Centres, help out in our National Office, or offer your skills remotely in your area of expertise, we would love to hear from you. Contact us to get involved now.
Surrey, BC: Every second Saturday of the month, A Rocha welcomes the public to visit our Brooksdale Environmental Centre in Surrey, BC, and participate in various volunteer projects on-site. Guided site tours and a wholesome community lunch are also on offer to visitors.
Our Brooksdale Environmental Centre can accommodate between 8 and 12 short- or long-term volunteers, who participate actively in community life and offer hospitality to the wider A Rocha community and the general public. Room & Board costs C$30/day. Interested volunteers must contact our office for approval. To read more, check out our Internships page.
Southern Manitoba: Volunteers are also welcome to pitch in at our Pembina Valley Field Station. People interested in trail maintenance, gardening, hospitality, and conservation and education are all welcome to inquire. Contact us at manitoba@arocha.ca.
Southern Ontario: Volunteers are welcome to join with the A Rocha GTA Action Group as they restore sensitive wildlife habitat, tend community gardens, maintain trails, and more. Contact Paul Abell for more information: paul.abell@arocha.ca
