Welcome to the farm at Brooksdale in Surrey, British Columbia! “Community Shared Agriculture” (CSA for short) is a way of connecting people more closely to the source of their food. It is a simple and affordable way for folks to know and support their farmers while having access to the healthiest, freshest food possible. CSA members commit to the farm for a whole season by paying in advance for a weekly harvest box.
“I made a pumpkin pie from scratch for the first time ever with my CSA thanksgiving pumpkin! Thank-you to the farmers for all the love and work that you put into our bins. This was our first year with A Rocha but we will be subscribers for years to come.”
(Brooksdale CSA Member)
By choosing to become a member of the Brooksdale CSA you will grow in your ability to eat “in season.” This is a learning curve for most of us, but at A Rocha we are trying to provide you with support and resources so that you can connect to the rhythms of sustainable, seasonal eating as a way of life. In this way you are making a meaningful contribution to caring for this good earth!
